The Fox Knives Companion BF-741 is an all-round hunting knife, for an amazing price. The blade is made from 440C steel. This is an affordable type of steel that is tough and easy to sharpen. Because of the hollow grind the blade is relatively thin behind the edge. As such it is easy to use. The handle is made from pakka wood. A composite material made from layers of wood and synthetic resin. As solid as a hard plastic, but with the warm look and feel of a nice piece of wood. A practical combination.
